The
countryside of the Blackdown Hills, an area designated as of outstanding natural
beauty, surrounds Fancy Farm and footpath walks begin from just beyond our gate.
The local pub is a short walk away and many hostelries nearby are renowned for
their excellent food and ale.
The south coast is a half hour drive away offering fantastic clifftop walks
and the seaside resorts of Sidmouth, Lyme Regis and Beer. Honiton, our local
market town and busy antique centre, is just 5 miles south. Local activities
include; fly, coarse and sea fishing, gliding, golf and horse-riding. At the
airfield nearby you can experience the thrill of flying, microlighting, or parachuting.
